Jonathan webb, founder & ceo

Jonathan Webb grew up in Kentucky and has been committed to finding sustainable projects that can be developed on the 1.2 million acres of reclaimed coal mine lands in Central Appalachia. Prior to founding AppHarvest, Jonathan supported the Executive Director of the Army Office of Energy Initiatives to help meet their White House goal of supplying 20% of DoD electricity usage from renewable sources by leveraging private sector capital for the projects. Jonathan received his bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky.

Seth Norat

Seth Norat, Chief Operating Officer

Seth Norat helped China based industrial equipment manufacturer Shandong Borun Process Industrial set up their US headquarters, Birtley Industrial Equipment, in his home state of Kentucky. Seth lived in China for four years and was an Operations Officer with the US-China Energy Cooperation Program (ECP), where he coordinated business operations and communications between the ECP Management Board, Executive Committee, and US Government officials. Seth is a Kentucky native and received his bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston.

Sydney Fulkerson

Sydney Fulkerson, Chief Design Officer

Sydney Fulkerson worked as Design Director directly for Founder/Chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation and Executive Founder of Singularity University, Peter Diamandis. She executed on the product development, curriculum design, management, marketing and selling of Diamandis’ online knowledge base and community, Abundance Digital. Sydney crowd-funded The Coffee Run: And Other Internship Need-to-Knows during her senior year of college (Dec 2014). Her book has been featured in The Huffington Post, The Today Show, Grant Cardone TV, Product Hunt, Bustle, and others. Sydney received her bachelor's degree in Merchandising and Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.

Eric Ceresnie

Eric Ceresnie, Chief Financial Officer

Eric Ceresnie was formerly a Vice President at Monomoy Capital Partners, an operationally oriented middle market private equity firm with $1.5 billion of committed capital. Eric was formerly a Manager in the Restructuring Practice of Ernst & Young LLP where he advised debtor and creditor clients through the restructuring process. Eric holds and Bachelor and Masters of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with honors as a Fellow of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations and the Engineering Global Leadership Honors Program.

Ramel Bradley


Ramel Bradley is a former starting point guard for the University of Kentucky, the winningest program in college basketball. Ramel played basketball professionally in Europe and the Middle East for 9 years, with stops in Croatia, France, Israel, and Turkey.  Now he is bringing his extensive leadership, motivational, and team building skills to AppHarvest. Ramel completed his degree in Community, Communications & Leadership Development from the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the University of Kentucky.

Kiran Bhatraju

Kiran Bhatraju, Board Member

Kiran Bhatraju is a native of Pikeville, KY and on the Board of AppHarvest. Kiran is a 2x entrepreneur, has worked on Capitol Hill, and is a published author. He is currently CEO of Arcadia Power, a nationwide home energy platform that works with more than 100 electric and gas utilities to purchase clean, renewable energy across all 50 states. His 2013 book, Mud Creek Medicine, about healthcare entrepreneur Eula Hall from Mud Creek, KY won the Kentucky Literary Award. Kiran serves on the Board of the Environmental Voter Project and is a proud Kentucky Colonel.

Greg Couch

Greg Couch, Board Member

Greg Couch is a native of Eastern Kentucky and on the Board of AppHarvest. Greg is the president of Meridian Wealth Management LLC, a firm that has over $600 million under management. Greg is also on the Board of Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH). ARH is Appalachia's largest employer with over 6,000 employees. Greg received his bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University.
