As of March 31, 2021, AppHarvest has created 500 jobs that pay a living wage. A single entry-level employee earns 74% of Rowan County’s median household income.
Our indoor farms are expected to yield up to 30x those of open-field agriculture on the same acreage. Our location in Central Appalachia is within a day’s drive of about 70% of the U.S. population.
